Tears to Tiara 15 – Candid

Translated from SumiSora&CASO&HKG, AngelSub and DMG:

[SubSmith] Tears to Tiara 15Script

720p: BT | MegaUpload

480p: BT

Animation back to “normal”, and still no new theme songs.  Maybe next episode~

Update:  A 480p H264 AAC MP4 release for those who need it.  The previous poll regarding which LQ format you guys want was somewhat inconclusive…  So we’ll probably stick with H264-MP4 format for LQ, unless someone convinces us otherwise.

    Thanks a lot.

Just a little nitpick: please don’t use he-aac (aac+) for audio, it has artifacts even at higher bitrates. At ~128 kbit/s normal AAC (or aac-lc) has better quality according to just about every listening test.

Otherwise nice sub, i really appreciate the fairly low filesize.

About HE-AAC (aac+) etc.. “Normal AAC” or AAC-LC.

AAC-HE is nothing more then, SBR + AAC-LC. Encodes of AAC-HE at 128bit would result in no SBR being used. So you would end up with a “normal” or AAC-LC (Low Complexity) encode. Therefore it wouldn’t matter if we used AAC-LC to do the encoding. As the final result would be the same.

    AAC-HE = LC-AAC + SBR (Rates below 96kbit).
    AAC-HE = AAC-LC (At rates higher then 96kbit)

The other option is OGG Vorbis.. but that’s a whole other story. xD

Well, afaik it’s possible to encode aac-he over 96 kbit/s too, so the lower frequency content is encoded with (unnecessarily high bitrate) aac-lc, while the higher part is still replicated with SBR (hence the artifacts, SBR cannot really be transparent).

I’m not saying you’re not right, just that libfaad2 is reporting that the audio is using SBR.

Not to be nitpicky about pointless details, but “Gravitus” should be “Gravitas”, due to the abundance of Latin terms in TTT.

You are absolutely right. I even went and researched the word, but somehow wrote in the wrong one…

Must be those damned garden gnomes….

SBR is being assumed, as the encode is AAC-HE. SBR is only applied when encoding at lower bits. Libfaad2 etc.. will always give you a false positive. It does the same thing for VFR videos, under MKV.. Libfaad2 will assume it’s a CFR video.

hi and thx for doing things in mp4 or avi since mkv really lags on my pc

Yes, this should be a lot more friendly to older PCs. Enjoy.
