I thought cross game was supposed to be 51 episodes? Can anyone confirm whether it is 50 or 51 episodes? Also thanks for the release. As always, I appreciate the effort and time that goes into subbing this.
Ahh that’s horrible. It’s bad enough the manga ended, but now this has to end sooner?
Maybe they’ll make the 51st an OAV of sorts,… maybe.. this has been one of my favorite shows to date… hate to see it go…

Don´t really see any reason for a second season since it will end the same as the Manga at episode 50. So with no further story to base itself on it won´t really be Cross Game will it.
It is a bit frustrating to know that so many subplots (such as some love triangles) will be left under-developed… This story had the potential for another 50-something-episode season!
The manga ends right after this match, in which many things happend. So you have no illusions that it can continue … Neither do I have no illusions. Greetings

Oh NOOOOO!! My favourite anime!! I love crossgame a lot!! I hope for an anime movie or anime special or something. And hope for Q & A (Another Adachi Mitsuru manga) to be anime. I miss you crossgame!!

yea it has caught up to the manga rather fast. i will really miss having this show as on to watch each week.

About the number of episodes: AniDB says “50 episodes”, so I guess that’s it. I will miss Cross Game. My favorite anime for a long time now :~

It can’t end at 50! They didn’t even finish the this last game. Grrrrrr, we need at least 52 to do a proper wrap.
